SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Eggs are shipped Monday through Wednesday, and occasionally early Thursday morning if USPS volume permits. This helps ensure your order doesn’t sit in a post office over the weekend. If we do not have enough eggs to fulfill your order, we will contact you.
Orders of 6+ eggs may be combined with another 6+ egg order (totaling 12 or more eggs) for shipping. The same applies to 12+ egg orders (totaling 24+ eggs).
7x7x6” Box holds up to 14 eggs — Medium Box holds up to 28 eggs
We prioritize shipping orders promptly, but high demand and hen laying cycles may cause delays. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us for special handling.
PACKAGING — NPIP AI & PT Certified: 22-441-E
A copy of the NPIP VS Form 9-3 will be included with your order and submitted to the appropriate state agency as required. (Digital copies available upon request.)
Your order will include extra egg(s) for free to help offset any potential breakage.
We use specially designed foam egg shippers inside a shipping box to protect the eggs and their air cells during transit. A hatching guide and a copy of this disclaimer are included with every order.
Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail (1–4 days) or Express Mail (1–2 days), depending on selection and USPS workload.
- Note 1: If you would like your eggs held for pickup at your local post office, please provide a phone number so the post office can notify you upon arrival.
- Note 2: To upgrade to Express Mail, contact us as soon as possible, since we aim to ship orders within 24 hours of payment.
We select only fresh, clean, nicely shaped eggs, no more than 3 days old at the time of shipment. Hatching eggs are not washed, to preserve the natural protective coating known as the “bloom.”
BEFORE YOUR EGGS ARRIVE — To improve hatch success:
- Clean and turn on your incubator at least 48 hours prior to egg arrival.
- Ensure consistent temperature and humidity—multiple monitoring devices are strongly recommended.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines: still air and forced air incubators require different settings.
PLEASE NOTE
We do not guarantee hatch rates due to many uncontrollable variables during shipping and incubation — By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these risks — A lack of development does not always indicate infertility—many factors can affect embryo viability — No returns or refunds are given for low hatch rates — Most USPS Priority Mail Express shipments include up to $100 insurance—please file a claim if you believe your shipment was mishandled.
FEEDBACK
We welcome your feedback and love to see photos of your hatching journey!
Please focus on:
Packaging quality — Egg condition upon arrival — Communication
Avoid negative feedback solely based on hatch rates, as many external factors influence results. We love to hear about your successes too!
Thank you and Best of Luck Hatching!
