Hatch Schedule & Summer Heat Policy

We operate on a structured, bi-weekly hatch schedule from April through Early October.

Our season officially begins April 4th.

Each hatch is limited in quantity to maintain high standards of care, space, and biosecurity.

Early reservations are encouraged.

 

Summer Heat Policy

No live chicks will be shipped between:

🚫 May 30 – September 19

During this time, live chicks are available for:

• ✅ Local Pickup Only
• ❌ No Shipping

Summer temperatures in transit can exceed safe limits, and we will not risk heat stress or losses in the mail.

Hatching eggs may remain available for shipping throughout summer, weather permitting.

We reserve the right to delay or cancel shipments if temperatures along the transit route are forecasted at 90°F or higher.
