Fertile Hatching Egg Shipping Disclaimer

Terms and Conditions For PFF’s Shipped Fertile Hatching Eggs

!!! PLEASE READ DISCLAIMER BELOW BEFORE PURCHASING !!!

Eggs are shipped Monday through Wednesday. This will help to ensure that your order does not sit in the post office over the weekend. We will contact you if fewer eggs were laid to fill your order. Only orders for 6+ eggs can be combined with another 6+egg order to ship as one shipment. (We can only fit 14 total in a box)

PACKAGING

NPIP AI & PT Certified: 22-441-E

Along with your order there will be a copy of the Npip VS form 9-3 for your own records and a copy that will also be sent to the state as a requirement.

(Will also be emailed)

Orders will always include extra egg(s) free with each order in case of breakage.

We pack all hatching eggs in either a USPS Medium Flat Rate Shipping Box or a USPS #4 Shipping Box. Your eggs will be encased in specially made foam egg shippers to ensure safe arrival and to protect the egg's air-cell as much as possible during shipping. We also include a hatching guide with every egg order. Your eggs will ship 1-3 days Priority Mail or if Express Mail then 1-2 days.

Note 1: If you would like your eggs to be held for pickup at your local post office, please provide a phone number for the PO to reach you once they arrive.

Note 2: If you would like your hatching egg shipment to be shipped Express Mail rather than Priority Mail, please contact us with the information given at the bottom of the page.

We carefully select fresh, healthy-looking, nicely shaped eggs. We ship only the freshest eggs to you for maximum viability, no more than 3 days old at the time of shipment. We do not wash hatching eggs for the sole purpose of the egg's protective coat called the “Bloom”. The bloom works to keep out bacteria from penetrating the egg shell.

Before your eggs arrive…

To increase your chances for success, clean and turn on your incubator a couple of days prior to the arrival of your hatching eggs. Be certain that your incubator is maintaining a proper, consistent temperature and humidity. Still air units will require a slightly different temperature than forced air units (follow the manufacturer’s instructions).

!! PLEASE READ !!

Due to numerous variables during shipment and incubation etc. we do not guarantee what your hatch rate will be. There are many risks when ordering hatching eggs to be shipped in the mail. You accept these risks when ordering. If an embryo does not develop, that does not mean the egg is infertile. Many variables can affect the viability of an embryo. Contact use for problems you may have and we will do our best to help you. You are welcome to file a claim with USPS if you feel they were mishandled. There is up to $100 of insurance with most shipments when shipping with Priority Mail Express.

We would love to get your feedback based on packaging, fertility rate and hatch rate. That way we can improve.

Thanks and Best of Luck Hatching🐣
